Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecan halves

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

  • 1/2 tsp fine sea salt

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  • Toss all the ingredients together in a bowl until the pecans are well coated.
  • Place the coated pecans onto the baking tray in a single layer and toast for around 12 minutes or until they are nicely crisped – use your own judgement here. Toss the nuts halfway through cooking.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before gently breaking them apart. Store in an airtight container.
